Certus engage™ commissioning and service wrap for Oracle® Fusion and Taleo Software as a service solutions

Certus Solutions (UK) LLP, an Oracle® Gold Partner, Oracle Approved Education Centre (OAEC) and leading provider of consultancy and software systems integration services to HR and Payroll Shared Services operations, is pleased to announce the creation of its Engage™ commissioning and service wrap for Oracle Fusion and Taleo Software as a Service (“SaaS”) solutions.
To compliment Oracle’s exciting product offerings Certus has for the past 12 months invested heavily in creating a new service wrap – “Engage™” dedicated to supporting Oracle Fusion and Taleo implementations.
Richard Atkins, EVP Fusion and Taleo for Certus Solutions commented “the world of Fusion and SaaS is completely different to a traditional Oracle E-Business Suite implementation. Appointment of Mary Thethi – Executive Vice President – Quality Assurance & Testing Services

Certus Solutions (UK) LLP, an Oracle Gold Partner, Oracle Approved Education Centre (OAEC) and leading provider of Oracle Fusion consultancy and systems integration services is pleased to announce the appointment of Mary Thethi as Executive Vice President Quality Assurance and Testing Services with effect from 1st December 2012.
Mary brings exceptional experience to Certus as it continues its expansion programme aligned to the Oracle Fusion & Taleo service offerings. Mary is well recognised for her expertise, extensive knowledge and capability in the Quality Assurance and Testing arena having established a distinguished career in programme and project delivery since 1996.
Mary was one of the original members of the award winning Her Majesty's Prison Service (HMPS) Phoenix Programme (2004-2009) which saw the successful creation of a new Shared Services operation in Newport, South Wales supported by the Oracle E-Business Suite technology platform, providing HR, Payroll, Finance and Procurement Services to approximately 50,000 employees across 130 geographical locations.
In April 2010 Mary joined Certus as Head of Testing Services on an associate basis for the company's provision of Systems Integration Services to its customer base, including Ministry of Justice, National Offender Management Services and Jardine Lloyd Thompson Group plc.
Moving forward Mary will become part of the company's Operations Board with responsibility for all of Certus's Quality Assurance and Testing Services, with an immediate goal of achieving the company's aim of ISO9001 Quality Standard. In addition Mary will be responsible for refining the testing and service desk support elements of the company's Engage™ service wrap commissioning and support methodology for Oracle Fusion and Taleo Software as a Service ("SaaS") solutions.

Successful Delivery – Lloyds Register

Lloyds Register Group mission has been to protect life and property and advance transportation and engineering education and research. The company provides independent assurance to companies operating high-risk, capital-intensive assets in the energy and transportation sectors, to enhance the safety of life, property and the environment. The Group’s HR upgrade to Oracle E-Business Suite R12 Lloyds Register’s People system went live on Monday 27th November 2012 and is now in use by HR Operations teams on a global basis. As part of the engagement Certus provided a range of implementation and support services including Project Management; Solution Design; Technical Design Assurance; Functional and Technical Consultancy. The engagement also required Certus consultants to provide support to Lloyds Register business operations in Europe, North America and China.
Major Contract Win – Ministry of Justice Shared Services

Certus Solutions in partnership with Methods Consulting Ltd, a leading Systems Aggregator for the UK Public Sector, has been awarded a £800K Systems Integration Services contract with the Ministry of Justice (MoJ) to deliver 3 major projects during 2013 onto their existing Phoenix Oracle platform. These include the enablement of HR and Payroll Shared Services provision to the soon to be newly formed Legal Aid Agency (LAA), which becomes vested from 1st April 2013 as an executive agency of the MoJ. The LAA project will involve complex data migration from the legacy Legal Services Commission organisation and onto a new HR and Payroll configuration within the existing Oracle Shared Services platform known as Phoenix. The project is due to go-live on 31st March 2013.

Certus to hold Seminar at Criminal Justice Management Conference 2012

On 19th September 2012 Mark Sweeny, CEO and Tim Warner, COO of Certus Solutions will be holding a seminar as part of the Criminal Justice Management Conference 2012 at Elizabeth II Conference Centre, Westminster. Certus Solutions (UK) LLP, an Oracle Gold Partner, Oracle Approved Education Centre (OAEC) and leading provider of consultancy and software systems integration services to HR and Payroll Shared Services operations, is pleased to announce the appointment of Richard Atkins as Executive Vice President with effect from 1 May 2012.
Richard will bring exceptional experience to Certus as it begins its expansion programme based upon the Oracle Fusion Applications product set, having started his career with Oracle Corporation in 1995 and was part of the implementation team that oversaw the deployment of Oracle HCM across Oracle Corporation’s EMEA operations.
Richard was also the Solution Architect for the former Department for Constitutional Affairs (DCA) implementation of Oracle E-Business Suite for HR and was subsequently responsible for the CHRimson Oracle HR implementation for the Ministry of Justice. Other major client engagements have included Reuters, LloydsTSB, Alcoa, and NHS - the largest HCM project of its kind worldwide where he was Solution Architect.
In April 2010 Richard joined Certus as Data Migration Solution Architect for the company’s provision of Systems Integration Services to Phase 1 of the Ministry of Justice Shared Services Programme which successfully saw 27,000 employees migrated from legacy HR systems to the existing National Offender Management Services Phoenix Platform in May 2011.

Certus Solutions acting as Systems Integrator have today extended its delivery of HR Case Management Application to National Offender Management Services (NOMS) for managing complex HR Case Work in a Shared Services operational environment. Certus previously created the bespoke system for the wider MoJ in 2011. The solution has been well received and its use has now been extended to cover 50,000 employees that comprise HM Prison Services and NOMS HQ. The system has been designed to work in a Shared Services operation, recognising the role the customer has to play in the supporting business processes.

Certus Solutions today successfully delivered Oracle R12 HCM; Payroll; iRecruitment and Employee and Management Self Service modules alongside a new Shared Service Centre operating offshore from Mumbai, India. Certus was responsible for all Solution Design, Technical Design, Build, Testing and Technical Training activities relating to the Shared Services operation and the underlying Oracle based technology stack. The technical solution also saw the successful deployment of Applaud Solutions - EmployeeCentre® and Self Service Absence Calendar solutions as part of the solution to create an enhanced end user experience. This was a highly complex implementation involving not only the setup of a new Shared Services operation but facilitated the re-implementation of Oracle R12 into an internally supported operation.
Successful Delivery – NOMS Organisation Restructure Technology Shared Services Project

The National Offender Management Service is an Executive Agency of the Ministry of Justice. Certus Solutions acting as Systems Integrator for MoJ Shared Services, oversaw the successful delivery of a new organisation wide pay and grading structures onto the existing Oracle E-Business Suite Phoenix system and general Shared Services readiness activities in support of NOMS Organisation Restructure Programme. The NOMS Organisation Restructure Programme is multi-million programme overseeing the restructuring of its HQ and establishment functions. As part of the engagement Certus are providing a range of services including Project Management; Solution Design; Technical Design Assurance; User Acceptance Testing; Payroll Data Assurance Testing; Business Change Support and Shared Services Readiness activities. Delivery of this major milestone allows the NOMS organisation to commence restructuring for new starters from 1st April 2012; and provides MoJ Shared Services support for the on-coming transformation.

Certus will be the first UK partner consultancy to undergo such training in preparation to provide Fusion Apps training during 2012. The UK IT Industry Awards see a new venture between BCS and Computing, merging the BCS IT Industry Awards and the Computing Awards for Excellence to create one platform for the entire profession to celebrate best practice, innovation and excellence.
