Mark Sweeny, Managing Partner
Mark is an experienced leader and has a proven track record in the delivery of large scale IT Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) enabled business change programmes. His knowledge and breadth of skills has enabled him to provide counsel and direction to the boards of two international software houses (The HUON Corporation, The Innovation Group); a niche international change management start-up consultancy (Enzyme International Ltd); and to central government (National Offender Management Services; HM Prison Service). In 2007 Mark founded Certus Solutions, providing highly skilled Programme and Project Management services to private and public sector companies, specialising in project rescue. Having recently successfully delivered the 3 year £25m Phoenix HR Shared Services Programme for Her Majesty’s Prison Service, he was subsequently engaged to manage several high profile projects for the new National Offender Management Services organisation. His extensive project portfolio included: Training Services Transformation; Workforce Modernisation and Succession Planning. In February 2008 Mark co-founded EmpIndex – “Employee Index”, the definitive human capital dynamics tool for measuring employee value against an organisations business objectives. Mark holds a first class honours degree from Westminster University, and an MBA from Strathclyde Graduate Business School.
Tim Warner, Partner, Oracle Practice
Tim is one of the leading Oracle HCM implementation consultants in the UK and EU. Since 1998, Tim has provided consultancy services either as Project Manager or Lead Consultant level on many of the largest Oracle HCM implementations in the UK and Europe. As a specialist in the Oracle HCM Family of products. Tim uses his in depth knowledge of the product set to harness the power of the e-Business Suite to maximise the benefits of the application through configuration rather than customisation.
Previous headline assignments have included the management of a pan-European rollout (14 countries) of Oracle HCM for COLT Telecom; and management Oracle HCM and Self Service HR to the Rural Payments Agency - one of the first implementations of self service in central UK Government. In 2006, Tim joined the H.M. Prison Service ‘Phoenix HR’ project in the capacities of Lead Consultant and Solutions Architect. This project delivered Oracle HCM to an employee base of over 50,000 within a shared services environment. Recent implementation projects have also have included implementing OLM for HMPS, OLM and iRecruitment for FL Smidth in Denmark, USA and India; advising CapGemini and Posten (Norwegian Post Office) on an SSHR, OTL, iRecruitment and OLM project in Norway. Tim regularly delivers training courses for Oracle University and for other customers and is a frequent contributor to Oracle User Groups in the UK and USA.
Tim is currently (2006- ) the chairman of the UKOUG HCM SIG and a member of the Oracle HCM Users Group (OHUG) in the USA. In 2008, Tim was made an ‘Oracle ACE’ by Oracle in recognition of his strong credentials in the Oracle HCM market and for his contribution to the Oracle community.
Mary Thethi, Head of Managed Service Testing Practice
Mary is one of the country’s leading experts in software systems testing and Quality Assurance, with over 20 years management experience. She has helped numerous companies deliver mission critical programmes to the highest possible quality, whilst ensuring the cost of quality is always measured and inline with customer expectations. Her proven track record includes two global insurance companies (Lombard, Gan Insurance); three international software houses (The HUON Corporation, The Innovation Group, Rubicon Corporation); and to the UK public sector (National Offender Management Services; HM Prison Service). Mary was also one of the original and longest serving members of the award winning HM Prison Service Shared Services Phoenix Programme, where she was Head of Quality Assurance from October 2004 – October 2008 and oversaw the delivery of QA Services to Finance; Procurement; Training and HR Shared Services project streams. As a consequence she is has a wealth of knowledge of the deployment of ERP systems (Oracle E-Business Suite) into a Shared Services operational environment.
Mary has used her wealth of experience to develop a number of standard testing and QA methodologies incorporating speed of delivery; repeatable processes; enhanced defect identification and resolution; and detail reporting metrics. As a consequence Mary is often cited and is regularly called upon by leading organisations in advisory and training capacity in regard to software testing. Mary is ISEB qualified.
Mark Adam, Principal Consultant
Mark is a proven HR delivery professional with over 10 years experience of delivery in the public sector having worked with the Cabinet Office; Prime Ministers Office; HM Treasury; DCLG; HM Prison Service and the Healthcare Commission. His in-depth knowledge and subject matter expertise covers all HR disciplines and he has extensive experience gained through process design, service delivery and creation of HR functions and systems. In addition mark has considerable expertise in change management and communication and took a lead role in the Phoenix HR Shared Services Programme for HM Prison Service(2005-2008), where he was responsible for the planning and delivery of organisational structural change to support a new HR Operating Model that supported both Shared Services and HR Business Partners. Mark specialises in the creation and delivery of integrated toolkits for effective management of internal and external stakeholders and evaluating HR activities to demonstrate added value and impact on organisational effectiveness. Mark is CIPD qualified and has a Business degree from University of Surrey.
